Construction quality
The building frame is supported by glued laminated timber (GL24 strength class; 120×360). All structural timber used in the building is C24 strength grade. On the inside, the studs are covered with OSB board, which gives the building rigidity and allows shelves, a television and other items to be securely fixed to the walls.
The building has a compliant vapour barrier and wind-protection gypsum board on the outside, together with the required ventilation battens and timber cladding. The wall construction is airtight and highly insulated.
The floor has 300 mm of insulation, while the walls and roof ceiling have 200 mm. The insulation is installed to minimise thermal bridges, further improving thermal performance. The building has a durable RUUKKI roof and triple-glazed windows for additional heat retention.
The exterior is finished with timber cladding treated twice with tinted wood oil or paint according to the client’s wishes. The floor structure is protected against rodents, and houses with eaves are fitted with an additional insect mesh.
Interior materials are selected by the client on the basis of an open-cost calculation.

Transport and installation
The building is transported to the site in three sections. The module is insured and weatherproof packed. Assembly takes up to two days.
The building is connected to utilities (electricity, water and sewerage) before final handover.
The construction process can be followed by visiting the site on working days by prior arrangement.
The buildings are completed at our production facility in Lihula. Our aim is to ensure the best quality and a reasonable construction time.
We have planned 10 weeks for the production of one building.
After completion, the buildings are weatherproof packed and stored on the secured factory site while awaiting transport.
