The GreenCube house factory operates in Lihula with the aim of providing high-quality building solutions for people looking for a new sauna, summer house or home. Smaller houses are delivered to the client in one piece and installation takes only a few hours. Larger buildings require a little more time. In production, we use as many locally sourced materials as possible to keep our products as Estonian as possible and support local businesses. In addition to our standard range, we also offer custom solutions. Working together with an architect, we will find a solution that meets your expectations. Quality from the very first house

Our story

Quality from the very first house

In 2012, Henri Bekmann, the founder and current CEO of the GreenCube house factory, decided to build a high-quality summer house in the countryside for year-round use. Construction proved challenging because specialised labour was unavailable in the area. To solve the problem, Bekmann decided to establish his own house factory, as he was clearly not alone in facing this difficulty.

After Enterprise Estonia approved Bekmann’s business idea, construction of the first house began. Nearly six months of preparatory work was carried out to source the right high-quality materials, with the goal of creating a building that offered excellent value for money. The first house was produced in a facility located in Kõmsi, Lääne County. Architect Ove Rae designed the project according to the specified requirements. Production has since moved to Lihula, where the premises and production capacity are eight times larger.

The houses are built under cover in the factory and transported to the client’s plot using specialised equipment. We build both element and modular houses throughout the year. In an element house, the wall and ceiling components are manufactured in the factory and assembled into a complete structure by crane at the destination. The interior work is then completed on site. In a modular house, the electrical work, plumbing and most of the interior finishing can also be completed at the factory.

The entire construction process is centralised, and work continues every day.

A house is an investment that lasts for decades, so it makes no sense to compromise on quality or materials. Naturally, the choice of materials is always agreed before construction begins to ensure that the result meets expectations as closely as possible.

The company has been recognised by Lääne County Governor Neeme Suur and received the Best Small House of the Year award in 2016. Most of our houses are sold in Estonia.

More than thirty-five thousand people follow and support the GreenCube house factory on social media.

Since the very first house, GreenCube’s goal has been to produce high-quality buildings.

We aim to continue offering personalised, high-quality solutions and to be the preferred choice in the construction market for clients who value quality and individually tailored production.
